Poetry #4
Qwerty limited regards the poetry of E.E. Cummings.
The classic shape of the bag is combined with crafted details such as stainless steel bracket on the top which shape reveals the hidden parts of the typewriter mechanism. Perforated front layer evokes the keyboard layout in which fragments of poetry were inserted. Some holes stay empty, showing a color of the underneath layer and creating the contrasting playfulness.
The entire bag is hand-made and all the details are evidence of the handicraft skills. The product shows old tried and tested techniques and materials, but a modern and up-to-date design approach.
It is best carried by hand, but can be worn more casually as on the shoulders for everyday use
The graphic illustration on the packaging (boxes) shows playful circle elements with deconstructed keyboard layout. As on the bags, the fragment of E.E. Cummings poetry appears on the boxes: “DAMN EVERTYTHING BUT THE CIRCUS”.
